In Blankenberge you can also use the electric sharedsteps of Hoppy.
At the moment it's a pilot project of six months, but after a positive evaluation it can become a permanent project. You can make use of one of the 150 e-steps, these have a limited speed and are available on several locations and public zones in the city.
Keep in mind the following rules:
- minimum age: 16 years
- only one person per e-step
- do not ride on the sidewalk
Locations
There are about 50 zones where users can plan their routes.
These zones are visible in the application, but are also visually indicated in the streets. A user is expected to pick up and drop off the e-step in one of the 50 designated zones across the city, they should not be left in random locations.

Price information
The unlock fee plus the cost per minute make up the trip cost.
