Fishing

Do you have a passion for fishing? Would you like to fish from the beach, at sea or from other spots in and around town? Or are you looking for fresh bait or angling equipment?

Fishing from Oosterstaketsel, Westerstaketsel and the Pier

You need a permit to fish from Oosterstaketsel, Westerstaketsel or the Pier.
Fishing permits are valid for a year and are for sale at the Tourist Information Point or online via the webshop.

A ban on fishing from the Pier will be imposed on 11, 12,13, 30 and 31 August 2024.

Please note that the western jetty will be demolished for the construction of a new western breakwater. There will therefore be no possibility to fish from the western jetty from 2 October 2023 until spring 2026.
