On Wednesday evenings, the pleasant Park De Craene (Uitkerke) is the perfect meeting place where residents and tourists come to enjoy a musical performance in a relaxed atmosphere. The festival is known for its small-scale concerts featuring well-known artists.

Blankenberge is the place to be in July and August. Because in addition to sun, sea and sand, summer also brings the sultry sounds of VRT Zomerhit. The local government of Blankenberge, VRT 1, VRT MAX and Radio2 are once again joining forces for this music festival.

'Vlaanderen Zingt' puts the audience centre stage. With the song sheet containing lyrics, you can easily sing along to the mainly Dutch-language songs that are part of the collective memory. English and French hits are also included. A live band keeps the sing-along running smoothly.

A summer full of sports, games and fun at the coast with the whole family? That's The Sports Summer! On Thursday 13 August, you can find us on the Zeedijk, on the beach and in the sea at Blankenberge. Together with a host of sports federations, we will be offering a wide range of well-known and lesser-known sports.

From Friday 14 to Sunday 16 August, there will be a street market in the town centre of Blankenberge. Between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., you can go shopping and pick up some great bargains.

Anyone who has ever visited tavern 't Koetshuis has surely wondered what the small pavilion in the courtyard was once used for. A working group of city guides researched the history of the Mamet/Konkelberge family and incorporated their story into the pavilion.
