From 14 May to 17 May 2026, the Harbour Festivities will take place. A number of traffic and parking measures will apply for the duration of the event.
The following streets will be closed during the Harbour Festivities:
- Weststraat between Vissersstraat and Franchommelaan
- Vanderstichelenstraat
- Franchommelaan
- Leopoldhelling
- Leopold Konkelbergekaai (Paravang)
- Leopoldstraat
- P. Benoitstraat (not accessible from the Market Square)
- Zeedijk between Charlierhelling and Felicien Ropshelling
- Consciencestraat
Users of the garages in the Franchommelaan and on the Zeedijk will have access until 1 p.m., after reporting to the police or community wardens at the intersection of Leopold Konkelbergekaai and De Smet de Naeyerlaan.
You are not allowed to park in the following streets:
Do you park your vehicle in one of these streets anyway? Then the car will be towed.
From 11 May to 18 May:
- Barcadère (both parkings)
- Leopold Konkelbergekaai
From 13 May to 18 May:
- Leopoldstraat
From 14 May to 17 May:
- Franchommelaan between Leopold Konkelbergekaai and Leopoldstraat
You may not park in the following streets between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., from 14 May to 17 May:
- Van Praethellling
- F. Regoudthelling
- Felicien Ropshelling
