Visiting a cemetery really doesn't have to be a sad affair.
You might as well focus on the ancient or recent symbolism, or the algae and mosses or the different types of stone, marble, marbrite and cast iron. Or look for links to Blankenberge history, at least of the prominent ones.
A cemetery is much richer than you might suspect.
