From Friday 10 April to Sunday 19 April, young and old alike can enjoy the station fun fair on Koning Leopold III square.

To mark the 25th anniversary of the Blankenberge Shanty Choir, we are joining forces with folk art group Reuzegom to present “De Traverse”.

Let yourself be swept away by Circus Barones and discover a sparkling family show full of fun, spectacle and wonder. With the theme “Smile – laughing is healthy”, this show promises to be an unforgettable experience for young and old alike.

During this edition, you will run past iconic locations such as the belle époque district, the seafront, the pier, the marina, the dunes and, for the 10-mile runners, even through the beautiful Uitkerkse Polder. A course full of atmosphere, nature and character. In addition to the running course, there will also be entertainment, a bouncy castle for the little ones, hamburgers, sausages and sweet treats.

During the library's opening hours, you can admire the work of Blankenberge artist Hilde Vanlierde.

The ‘Carnival Photogenic’ photography exhibition showcases the 50 best entries from the eponymous photography competition, in which we challenged amateur and professional photographers to capture the most artistic image of the 2026 carnival celebrations.

From 7 April to 3 May, the educational mini-exhibition ‘Butterflies and their host plants’ will be on display in the exhibition space at the Uitkerkse Polder visitor centre.
