Blankenberge-based Ann Van Belle studied art history and fine arts and is a much sought-after tattoo artist and portrait artist. She creates unique paintings using a variety of techniques. Discover some of her most beautiful and striking works in our Large Salon.

The Two-Day Walk is two days of fun for all those who love brisk or recreational walking. Lovely routes along the beach, through the dunes, in the polders along picturesque villages. Nice ambiance at the various rest points.

From 3 March to 4 April, the educational mini-expo ‘Breeding birds in the Uitkerkse Polder’ runs in the exhibition area of the Uitkerkse Polder visitor centre.

From Friday 25 April to Sunday 4 May, young and old alike can enjoy the station fun fair on Koning Leopold III square.

Anyone who has ever visited tavern ‘t Koetshuis has surely asked themselves what the little pavilion in the courtyard once served for. A group of the city guides looked up the chronicle of the Mamet/Konkelberge family and housed their story in the pavilion.

'De Fonteintjes' are best known for their plant diversity. Five species of wild orchids, including reed orchid, bee orchid and marsh helleborine, flourish there. Other gems like adder's tongue, limpet and the extremely rare plantain pondweed also thrive there. May and June are the months par excellence to admire the plants.
