From Saturday 1 March to Sunday 9 March, young and old alike can enjoy the carnival fun fair on the Market Square.

On Tuesday 4 March, the Vuûle Jeanetten will once again roam Blankenberge's city centre streets.

On Saturday 8 March 2025, we will again dive into the North Sea during the Carnival Dive in Blankenberge. For enthusiasts: ice diving in the North Sea with carnival-style warm-up on the beach beforehand. Those who are not so keen on the icy water: watching is also great fun!

Go on a scavenger hunt together with your family along the mini market stalls scattered in different places in the city. The stalls are filled with the finest items, but there is a problem. Nobody remembers the code of the safe! At each stall, count the number of products on sale and collect the numbers to crack the code.

For almost two hundred years, Blankenberge has been known as a seaside resort. The town definitively became a tourist centre in 1863 with its connection to the railway network. From then on, Blankenberge underwent a metamorphosis. The large influx of tourists led to the construction of larger hotels including the Grand Hôtel des Bains et des Familles. Stately buildings, beautiful interiors, staff and holidaymakers went hand in hand from then on.

The members of the Royal Cineclub Blankenberge will present their films, made in the past years. They will be projected on big screen. The programme consists of two parts. During the interval, there will be plenty of time for a coffee or other drink with a tasty piece of cake.

The photos selected by the jury from the 'Carnival Photogenic' photo competition will be exhibited from 3 April to 18 May 2025 in exhibition space De Meridiaan.
