Fancy a spectacular pool party? Come swim and romp to the beats of DJ Natick. After swimming, each participant will enjoy a deluxe hot dog and a drink.

This winter, exhibition venue De Meridiaan is once again opening its doors to local visual artists. Five artists will have the opportunity to showcase their work – each with their own style, techniques and stories.

From 1 September to 23 November, the educational mini-expo ‘Nature management in the Uitkerkse Polder’ runs in the exhibition area of the Uitkerkse Polder visitor centre.

Want to get a good breath of fresh air in Blankenberge and its surroundings? Then join the ‘Stormtocht’ on Sunday 23 November, a winter walk in the city, along the beach and through the dunes and polders.

During the winter months, the Uitkerkse Polder is bursting at the seams with bird life. Many thousands of geese, who spent the summer breeding season in the far arctic north, come in winter to feast on the nutritious grass they find in the vast meadows. You will find imposing flocks of kola geese, barnacle geese and pink-footed geese all over the wide area. For the latter, the Belgian coastal polders are one of the most important wintering areas in the world.

Experience the winter months like never before. Expect an indoor ice skating rink, a cosy winter bar and atmospheric Christmas market with mini chalets.

This Christmas concert is brought to you by Cantic@Mare, a four-part mixed ensemble from Knokke-Heist, which was founded in 2007 under the inspiring leadership of Tony Venneman. In a short time, it has grown to become a leading factor in the cultural life of Knokke-Heist. For the Christmas concert, the choir will be accompanied by a string quintet and piano.

On Saturday 6 December, the Saveryszaal in Blankenberge's casino building will once again be transformed into our town's most beautiful dance hall. For years, the Mayor and Aldermen's Ball has been the party event of the year. Dance the night away with friends, neighbours and familiar faces.

Pause for a moment. Meet. Stay a while. Connect. That is exactly what 'Perron B' stands for – a winter festival that brings warmth and togetherness to the heart of Blankenberge. From 18 to 21 December 2025, 'Perron B' will be a place where people come together, where the hustle and bustle gives way to conviviality, and where connection and relaxation arise naturally.

Soak up the end-of-year atmosphere with the various projections in shop windows in the city centre.

The programme consists of classic sing-alongs (from our summer repertoire) complemented by Christmas songs. So it is a combination of happy sing-alongs and Christmas songs.

In Blankenberge, a mysterious witch is preparing to brew her great magic soup. A soup so powerful that she can use it to bring ghosts to life. But... She is still looking for the right ingredients to finish her soup. Do you dare to help her?

On 21 December, we will take you on a unique Urban Walk in Blankenberge! A route of approximately 10 km will lead you past and through remarkable buildings, allowing you to discover hidden gems.
