On Wednesday evenings, the pleasant Park De Craene (Uitkerke) is the perfect meeting place where residents and tourists come to enjoy a musical performance in a relaxed atmosphere. The festival is known for its small-scale concerts featuring well-known artists.

From Friday 14 August, an exceptional exhibition will be on display at the Old Town Hall in Blankenberge. None other than the highly regarded Bruges-based painter Fernand Thienpondt will be exhibiting there, at the invitation of the cultural organisation Cultenus-Blankenberge.

This summer, Blankenberge will once again be the vibrant heart of Radio2 and VRT Zomerhit. For eight weeks, Radio2 will welcome listeners, artists and holidaymakers to the iconic pier for a summer full of music, atmosphere and fun for young and old.

Blankenberge is the place to be in July and August. Because in addition to sun, sea and sand, summer also brings the sultry sounds of VRT Zomerhit. The local government of Blankenberge, VRT 1, VRT MAX and Radio2 are once again joining forces for this music festival.

On Sunday 30 August 2026, thousands of dahlias will brighten up Blankenberge, as the flower parade with floats and dance groups winds its way through the streets of the town centre.

Every Wednesday in July and August, Majutte's cottage welcomes the De Korre folk group, dressed in traditional costume, from 12 noon to 6 p.m., with a host of activities in Blankenberge’s oldest and best-preserved 18th-century fisherman’s cottage.
