With over 50 aquariums you will come face to face with spectacular sharks in the shark tunnel, meet the infamous piranhas and marvel at the national seahorses breeding programme. Home to over 2500 animals, Sea Life offers a fascinating snapshot of the world’s oceans.
Sea Life is also an internationally recognised shelter for beached or orphaned seals. They are looked after in the seal clinic and quarantine areas where they are prepared for release back into the sea. You can learn what’s involved in nursing a vulnerable animal back to health and visit the seal academy. In the spacious outdoor area, you will be introduced to some super-silly Humboldt penguins, playful otters and impressive sea lions.
